💉 Botox® / Neurotoxin Onset 3–7 days • Peak ~14 days • Duration ~3–4 months

Do

  • Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment; gentle walking is fine.
  • Use treated muscles lightly for the first hour (frown, smile, raise brows).
  • Apply a wrapped ice pack 5–10 minutes at a time for tenderness.
  • Resume light daily activities; most clients have no downtime.

Avoid

  • Do not rub, massage, or apply pressure on treated areas for 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot yoga for 24 hours.
  • Do not lie flat for 4 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol and unnecessary blood thinners the day of treatment (if medically appropriate).
Normal: Small bumps, pinpoint redness, or mild headache within the first day.
When to contact us: Severe headache, vision changes, or symptoms that feel unusual or worsening—contact us.

💋 Dermal Fillers (HA) Swelling common 24–72 hrs • Bruising may last 1–2 weeks

Do

  • Ice (wrapped) 10 min on / 10 off during day 1 to reduce swelling.
  • Sleep with head elevated the first night; minimize pressure on treated areas.
  • Consider arnica/bromelain if not contraindicated (helps bruising).
  • Use acetaminophen for discomfort unless otherwise directed.
  • Keep lips moisturized (for lip filler) and minimize excessive movement day 1.

Avoid

  • No makeup or products on injection sites for 12 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, heat/sauna/steam, and alcohol for 24–48 hours.
  • Pause dental procedures for 2 weeks when possible.
  • Do not massage or press filler unless instructed by your provider.
  • Delay facials/microneedling/laser on treated areas for 2–4 weeks (ask your provider).
Normal: Swelling, firmness, tenderness, and bruising—especially lips in the first 48–72 hours.
When to contact us: Increasing pain, pale/blue skin, blisters, or new numbness (possible vascular issue)—contact us promptly.
